This gives people of Franklin County a way to get a rebate on native plants, planting a tree or what we are focusing on today, a rain barrel! They will have a quiz opening on April 19th that will enable you to be qualified for the rebate. Rain Brothers offers an instant rebate and during the COVID-19 pandemic is also delivering items within a certain range straight to your home (Rain barrel from Rain Brothers found here).
Why would someone want a rain barrel? Rain barrels can obtain water from your roof and put it in the barrel that you can use for later use rather than getting water from the spigot. (Resource: EPA Soak Up the Rain). This helps to conserve water, lower your costs for your water bill
Use this water to water your pollinator gardens and ornaments (not advised to put on vegetables).
